The Nov TFCB meeting will be held on Thursday Nov 15^th ( note, this is the 3^rd Thursday of the month ) and our guest speaker will be Gary Lange speaking on seven brand new and undescribed rainbowfishes that he has managed to find in three trips to West Papua, the western section of the island of New Guinea. Not to be missed! Gary is a great photographer, tells good stories and will share some of his adventure with us. Plus he is bringing rainbowfish eggs for us to auction off. Karen will teach you how to meet your plant’s basic needs, and how to be successful with a planted tank, whether it is a low light, low maintenance “planted fish tank” or a top end tank designed to support the most demanding plants.

Having Fun with Nano Tanks

The title says it all! These little gems have become increasingly popular, and with proper set-up and maintenance, can be very stable long term. Just be forewarned – A nano tank on your desk can also be a huge (if fun!) distraction!
